Returns
Important Information

The customer is responsible for all return fee charges to send the product back to Spectronix.

Only goods that are unused and have never been installed may be returned.
-
No returns will be accepted on imported products or special order items.
-
A 10% restocking fee will be charged on all returned goods and 90% of the transaction charge excluding delivery will be refunded to the customer’s preferred choice of payment method.

Spectronix reserves the right to deduct any delivery charge or free shipping on the original order with a minimum value of R150.

An option for credit in the amount of the refund will also be made available for the customer to use towards new products excluding additional delivery charges.

Any product must be returned within 15 business days from the date of receipt of the goods as signed for on the delivery note by the client.

In the event returned products arrive damaged or used, no refund will be provided.

Spectronix does not accept returns on light bulbs.

Defective products may be repaired or exchanged in the event the warrant period is valid.
Limitation of Liability
About Our Policy
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

Spectronix is a registered business trading online only.

All products have a minimum 5 working day lead time before being dispatched to the customers designated address.

Warranties are individual to each product and customers are advised to check the warranty inside the packing.

Spectronix reserves the right to change prices without prior notice to the customer as prices are dependant on exchange rates.

All customer data is stored securely and will not be provided to any third party without prior consent.
Delivery
What You Need to Know

The customer is liable for all delivery charges unless otherwise specified.

Delivery is provided by MDS Collivery and is calculated at check-out using the customers selected delivery address.
Damaged Goods
What You Need to Know

Any product that is received damaged must be reported within 48 Hours of receipt.

Spectronix will not accept any responsibility for damages not reported within this time frame.

Upon receiving your claim, Spectronix will file a claim with the courier service provider which generally takes between 8-10 business days to process. Do not discard the damaged product until you have received instructions from Spectronix of the procedure to be followed. Spectronix will supply a replacement product to you at no additional charge. Failure to follow these instruction may result in a charge being applied for the replacement product.

Products received with broken glass or dented shades are not considered defective. In such a case, Spectronix will provide a replacement with at no extra charge.

Should you wish to return a product received with broken glass or dented shades, the standard return policy as listed above will apply.

Payment Terms
1.. All payment facilities are provided by Payfast, according to Payfast privacy policies.
2. Spectronix accepts debit cards, credit cards and instant eft payments as provided by Payfast.
3. Goods will only be dispatched once Spectronix is informed by Payfast that the payment is valid.
